  1. Hey Ishmam! As I’m sure you know, AP testing has started this week! I couldn’t find your e-mail address on the site (due probably to my horrible navigation skills), so I guess I’ll post here! I am taking the APUSH test on Friday, and although I have assembled some AP books and I plan to use your and my notes to study, I was wondering what your strategy was to study for APUSH (from study books to tips and stuff). Hey, if it’s not too much trouble, I’m also taking the AP Physics and English AP test, and I was wondering about your thoughts on that! I know this is sort of last-minute, but I would really love to hear from you!

    • Hi Mike. Thanks for the comment!

I started studying the week before the exam, a little each day. Pace yourself with a review book; calculate how much you need to complete each day to be done before the exam date. Use notes to accompany the review book material.

As far as review books go, I’ve always found Princeton Reviews to be the best overall. If you’re looking for a more intensive review, Barron’s are notoriously more in-depth.

I’m studying for Physics and English too, so probably don’t have much authority on those tests. I’m allocating more time to Physics though, since English needs less review.

Hope that helps! And good luck! Now proceed to step 2.

      • Haha will do. Thanks so much! Yeah I just had a Princeton Physics Practice Test with my friends and man it was a de-motivator. But luckily Physics (to me at least) is by far one of the most interesting science classes I’ve ever taken, so studying won’t be much of a drag. For APUSH, MC was easy, but, like always, essays were pretty bad.

What say you?
