“When you play, play hard; when you work, don’t play at all.”

—Theodore Roosevelt

Reporting live from AP Statistics.

There’s a substitute today so, as expected, any semblance of work is forfeit. And anyway, I’m done with tonight’s homework.

Like my fellow AP Physicsmates that are, I should be panicking right now; there’s a term final in T-minus 30 minutes. If I were driven enough, I’d probably use this basically free block to study instead of to blog.  But it’s a Monday before a long weekend and I don’t feel like it.

Besides, I doubt that any studying I do between now and then will be significantly helpful. (This is me justifying my lack of motivation.)

The term is on its way to a satisfying end; I like my classes and teachers, and am looking forward to another nine weeks. Surprisingly, to me, anyway, AP Lit ended up being my favorite class. Stats puts me to sleep and physics, likewise. Good classes, yes, but yawn-inducing. I’ll probably regret saying that when I get my grade for the physics final back.

Point is, Lit is interesting.

I need this long weekend partly to relax and partly to get work done. It’s time to square away that next batch of college applications.
